To make upgrading more convenient, with version 1.2.401.81,
the installer will now honor a valid existing Accelerator configuration file,
if it is found in the installation directory. This allows any
Accelerator settings changes to be preserved and any existing full license to
continue to be used without re-installation of that license.
Use the following chart to select the procedure appropriate
for your situation:

Procedure for upgrading from v1.2.401.80 and earlier to v1.2.401.80 or earlier
versions:
To upgrade from an Accelerator installation, simply
uninstall the existing Accelerator and re-install the new (downloaded) V1.2
version.
- Note: This process will stop and re-start
IIS.
- Note: This process will overwrite any changes
in the Accelerator settings or overrides you have made, so you will need
to re-apply any such changes or additions.
- Important: After you have successfully
installed the new version, if you are using a production (full) license,
you should re-install that license just as you did when you received it.
Procedure for upgrading from v1.2.401.80 and earlier to v1.2.401.81 or later:
Note: This procedure will stop and re-start
IIS.

Copy the existing Accelerator.config file (which contains the
settings) from the installation directory (typically c:\program
files\metolius\accelerator\) to a temporary location (e.g. c:\temp\).

Uninstall Accelerator using the normal method (Control
Panel->Add/Remove programs->Remove Accelerator).
Note: If you have upgraded to a full license vs. a time-limited evaluation
license, the license file will not be removed during this
de-installation step and will remain in the installation directory (e.g.
c:\program files\metolius\accelerator\FullLicense.lic). It is, however,
fine to
back-up this license file to the temporary directory as well.

Copy the Accelerator.config file you saved in step 1 above
back to the installation directory (typically c:\program
files\metolius\accelerator\).

Install the new version of Accelerator as normal.
Upon successful installation, your changed settings will be retained and if
you have a full license it will continue to be used - if you use the same
installation directory as the one from which Accelerator was uninstalled.
Procedure for upgrading from v.1.2.401.81or later to v1.2.401.81 or later:
